| Why MySecureShell there ? |
MySecureShell was created because there was no simple solution to configure the OpenSSH sftp server. We will here explain it better :
There are to date many FTP servers that implement security options like SSL. But the OpenSSH sftp server that is more effective than a standard FTP server, provides a huge layer of sécuritée more by encrypting all connections (authentication and data).
After several searches on the Internet, we could not find any ACLs for OpenSSH sftp server. Therefore we decided to develop such services and to make available to the OpenSource world! MySecureShell is totally free!

| For which OS ? |
MySecureShell has been developed so that it can act on several types of platforms such as Linux, Mac OS X, Solaris, BSD, etc...
We also create several types of installers so that people with the basic computer can access. There is a package for Mac OS X Universal Binary, and for Linux packages RPM / DEB 32-bit and 64.
For other systems with no packages are available, there is an installer shell script equivalent which will provide easier installation.
For the administration part, again 2 methods are possible. Editing the configuration file from the command line, or the graphic 'Java interface 'of MySecureShell. The Java version can be executed remotely to take control of a server. This ui also has a wizard to ease administration.

Here is an overview of ACLs:
- Control bandwidth.
- Secure viewing rights.
- Administration of server by GUI.
- Management of the activity the server with logging.
- Control by user ip, groups ...
- Remote Access administration.
- Confinement server in a secure area (Chroot Jail ).
